Yeoman service by ophthalmologists recognised

Dr Praveen Krishna and Dr Vasumathy Vedantham, medical directors of Radhatri Nethralaya were conferred the Prof. R.P. Pokhrel (Father of Vision of Nepal) Indo-Nepal Friendship Gold Medal 2024 at a ceremony at the Indo-Nepal Friendship International CME at Hotel Surya Heritage, Kathmandu. The award was in the name of Prof RP Pokhrel, who is considered to be the father of Ophthalmology of Nepal. The function was graced by Ram Baran Yadav, ex-president, Democratic Republic of Nepal. Dr Praveen and Dr Vasumathy jointly received the award for their yeoman service in the field of community ophthalmology from Nepal Ophthalmic Society and Association of Community Ophthalmologists of India.
